why would I find this flash poor?

That was funny, and you obviously put a lot of work into it. While you have by no means a mastery of flash, you had enough skill to convey your idea - which was a good one. For your first flash, it was thoroughly realised.
A piece of advice tho - don't talk your piece down, talk it up. It's common knowledge here on NG that crap can survive when it's talked up, but good stuff can get blammed when it's talked down.
Now I'm going to watch part 2 ;)

that was ok, but....

...find a movie called 'yes & no'. It was in the portal top 50 for ages. Watch it, and you'll be like "OMG!!! He stole my idea!!! Ages before I even had my idea!!!"

you should probably finish it one day. even if you just gave what you did some text 2 speech dialogue and improved the graphics a little (and maybe add one more clock to fight) this would be a pretty cool movie.

my scores are honest, they explain a lot...

apart from the fact you didn't frame this right, I couldn't really fault this movie. ok, so it's not the most slick and professional flash I've ever seen, but damn, it was funny. sometimes intentionally, sometimes not. sometimes it was a bit wierd, a bit lame, but it all added to the humour. I look forward to it if there's a part two...
