good but...

like the last person said, controls are kind of annoying. work out a way to make it drag and drop? or even if there was just a button to skip a tower... but then I know you said it was just something to do, you weren't trying for a masterpiece - I still found this a pleasant waste of time.

duh! how else is a dressup game girl supposed to look if not hentaid up by tentacles! but then, don't even bother cos dressup games are so last year...

no. this is very kewl mopsy. I was bemused as to why it was rated so lowly, but yeah, the other reviews explain a bit - ppl are stupid.

It was probably too hard, but it was a decent enough game.

but other than that, this is just a hack. And not a very thorough one at that. Just for the record, how much of the coding is yours?

Well, improving upon the Pacman engine would've been tough, it's much faster, and just all-around better than others I've seen. So I left most of the original code I was given intact. I did change some parts to suit the project, and the preloader is completely mine (coded top to bottom) so, maybe 35/65.

you haven't quite got the dynamics of pacman right here. but it is a good idea. and what was f8l doing?
sorry to say this, but the sounds were bad. just a little bit more work on them, make the "music" a little bit less repetitive, they would have been fine.
graphics were ok, maybe you just need to put a little more animation into it. even if you just made strawberry and the anticlocks face the way they were going, that might improve it.
the controls were a little odd. perhaps too sensitive for the game off pacman. when turning corners, it was possible to miss the corner dot (pill?). also, you had to time it right to actually turn the corner.

oh well, good effort anyway. I hope you take this all as constructive criticism, because if you tweaked this just that little bit, this could become a truly great version of pacman.

don't cry when you gets bagged...

it seems such a shame to give up on something with so much potential...
I've submitted games to newgrounds too so I know how it feels when you get bagged and you think you don't deserve it... but instead of getting upset, listen to the people who say something constructive, and those who just bag you, bag them back (they're usually dickheads, and it's fun to make people like that look stupid). Fix up ALL of the problems that people had with you're game, and try to implement as many improvements as you can, and you'd be suprised how much more positive the response might be...
having said that, there is a bit of luck involved. The review which is currently visible does seem to bias the voting a bit (I know a review has sometimes swayed my vote), so getting a good review first up always helps (poor reviews often mean people don't even bother watching it).
But just keep at it. I know you think it's good as it is, but you're probably biased...
